Artist Series Vase #03 | The Terence Hammonds Rookwood Collection
Extra–Large Barrel Vase of blue print work on a white matte crackle glaze that seem to age the image as well as the pot. The interior has a speckled light gray contrast. The imagery shows a man enjoying some tunes while walking through the neighborhood. A tribute to the culture of the Kenyon-Barr neighborhood of Cincinnati’s West End, uprooted when bulldozed for the I-75 Interstate project in the 1950s. This imagery honors so many culturally rich neighborhoods lost in the pursuit of progress. 2024 Stamp. Signed by the Artist.
