The imagery on this platter conveys a swimmer sitting on the moon, hopeful but not without concerns. Moving from a known place to an uncertain future is never easy but always begins with one step. Energy is needed, but recouperation and rest are also critical in the process. A medium green matte glaze is on the exterior rim, while a rich blue over green matte glaze treatment enhances the regal nature of the images, giving depth to the heavenly background. 2024 Stamp.
