The black matte neck and terra cotta base give this vase an earthy and masculine feel. Colors emerge at the shoulder with hard drips of defined and brilliant colors at the drip line. Tan, green, red, blue and white were applied, along with a reactive gloss pulling black from the neck into the field of color. Interesting from every view.
